and allows the abrasive section to be placed away from the pump.
The
Aqua Miser ULTRA BOSS combines 40,000 psi water blasting and the
patented B.O.S.S.® abrasive injection technology to achieve
results never before possible.
(1) Patented
B.O.S.S.® Abrasive Injection System - The system pressure
feeds any abrasive media to achieve a multitude of blasting
specifications. Achieve a white metal finish, profile new steel,
prepare concrete, or simply degrease and clean. The ULTRA BOSS
can use traditional abrasives for high strip rates or water
soluble abrasives for low environmental impact and delicate
blasting requirements.
(2) Small Compact Modular Design The system requires minimal
floor space and allows the abrasive section to be optional.
(3) Pneumatic Remote Control System The pump and motor are only
fully engaged when the trigger is pulled. This uses less electricity,
causes less wear and tear, and eliminates expensive tumble boxes,
dump valves and unloaders.
(4) Triplex Plunger Water Pump The pump provides ultra high
pressure (up to 40,000 psi) while using a low volume of water
(3 gpm). This means less operator fatigue, less water to contain
and dispose, and less inlet water required (just a garden hose
for feed water).

Ultra high-pressure triplex plunger pump designed for long life
in demanding industrial conditions. The pump utilizes durable,
high quality materials such as hardened stainless steels to
minimize wear and corrosion of critical components. The proven
in-line valves are made from specialty materials to withstand
the high pressures, yield maximum volume, and provide for quiet
operation. Individual head and cylinder design provides for
ease of maintenance and serviceability. The pump is rated at
3 GPM @ 40,000 PSI. *

- CONTROL:
Pump and motor are actuated by a 12 VDC signal. System uses
no high maintenance bypass or unloader valves. Motor starts
and stops as the operator actuates the gun trigger. This design
minimizes pump wear, power consumption, and water.

ABRASIVE
SYSTEM:
The abrasive injection system is a skid built module providing
for easy attachment to the pump unit. System design permits the
use of a wide variety of abrasives, including Bicarbonate of Soda,
Aluminum Oxide, and Glass Bead. The abrasive system utilizes a
3.5 cubic foot ASME coded pot to pressure feed the abrasive gun
at up to 300 feet horizontally or 200 feet vertically. Abrasive
flow rate is controlled from 0.5-5.0 lb./min.
