The Aqua Klean is designed to remove all solids from the Aqua Miser waterjet process and will reduce waste disposal by as much as 85%. The self-cleaning AquaKlean C100A uses centrifugal force,up to eight hundred times the force of gravity to sling the solids around the outer edges of the rotor.As the rotor reaches full capacity,it automatically stops the rotor and the pump.It then locks the rotor in place and scrapes the interior clean of the solid waste.The solids are then discharged into a 55 gallon drum with hazmat liner for easy disposal.Once clean,the automatic sensors start the pump and rotor again.The Aqua Klean technology eliminates the use of filters or other consumable materials.No secondary drying is necessary. This automatic cleaning and disposal system is rugged and reliable, manufactured to exacting tolerances and designed for around the clock operation without operator intervention. Safe for workers and the environment, the AquaKlean C100A ensures neither the operator nor the environment comes in contact with the solid waste.

How It Works

To ensure proper handling and disposal of liquid and solid waste produced during the blasting process, the AquaKlean C100A utilizes a powerful centrifugal force up to eight hundred times the force of gravity. Once the unit is correctly installed and operational, water from the blasting operation can be sampled to make sure it meets the discharge specification so that it is safe to discharge into the sewer. The AquaKlean C100A’s automatic cleaning process draws solid blast particles out towards the perimeter as the rotor is engaged and starts to spin. The blast waste is collected on the outside of the rotor while the water is removed and recycled back into a holding tank for future disposal - cleaned and essentially free of solid contamination!
