Once the AquaKlean is correctly installed and placed in operation, the water from the blasting operation can be sampled and as long as it meets discharge specification it can be discharged into the sewer. When the AquaKlean’s rotor is engaged and it starts to spin, solid blast particles begin to move out towards the perimeter. The blast waste is collected on the outside of the rotor while the water is removed and recycled back into a holding tank for future disposal, suitable cleaned and essentially free of solid contamination. Installation of all AquaKlean Systems is simple. All that needs to be connected are a few electrical hook-ups, a water feed pump that pumps the water in to the unit, and a clean water pipe that returns water into the tank. 2 Manual Models Available: The C-50M and C-80M AquaKlean manual units are ideal for separating liquid and solid waste in small jobs or where only on Aqua Miser is being used. These machines provide a very cost effective method of reducing waster volume from water blasting operations. With a manual model, an operator periodically stops the unit, removes and cleans the inner basket, and restarts the machine. This simple operation requires only about fifteen minutes and minimal tools. With a conservative design, small footprint, and meager utility requirements, the C-50M and C-80M models are attractive, easy to operate machines to anyone with a water blasting operation.
