Personal Protective Equiptment for UHP Waterjet Operators

TurtleSkin is a family of protective products designed to offer advanced puncture, cut and abrasion protection. CESCO has selected to offer TurtleSkin protective wear because it is ideal for use with Aqua Miser™ product line, especially our 40,000 psi D-115 Ultra BOSS model.

TurtleSkin is made from the tightest weave ever achieved in Kevlar®, a fiber twice as strong and five times lighter than steel. Available from CESCO, this unique line of super high quality protective equipment can protect ultra high pressure (UHP) waterjet operators from pressures as high as 40,000 psi.

The complete protective TurtleSkin suit consists of 12 separate sections, which are assembled separately and can be replaced individually:

• Upper Body Protective Vest - four panels (1 chest, 2 waist and 1 groin guard)
• Lower Body Protective Chaps - eight panels (2 hip, 2 thigh, 2 knee and 2 shin guards)

Foot & Lower Leg Protection - Water Armor Gaiters are also available to provide protection to front areas of the body not covered by the suit.
